Your Job
We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Sales Account Manager to drive business growth in the Datacom market, with a focus on AI server, switch, and high speed interconnect applications. This role requires the ability to understand customer system architectures, promote Molex solutions, and win new design opportunities together with internal cross functional teams.
What You Will Do
- Develop a deep understanding of the Datacom and AI infrastructure market, especially server and switch hardware applications.
- Proactively promote Molex connectivity solutions, engage with key decision makers, and drive design ins to achieve sales revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders at customer accounts.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities; secure profitable design wins with support from global product divisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including PM, FAE, quality, logistics, and operations—to ensure smooth product delivery, issue resolution, and maximize Molex share.
- Conduct senior level customer seminars, presenting Molex’s latest products, technologies, and roadmaps.
- Monitor competitive landscape and provide customer/market insights to support strategic decision making.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Datacom/Telecom or related electronics industry.
- Experience in one or more areas is highly preferred:
- Datacenter switch/server/router hardware
- Product roles such as PM, FAE, hardware design, or component qualification
- Strongly prefer candidates with connector, interconnect, or hardware system background.
- Solid technical foundation in Datacom, hardware, or interconnect components (MUST).
- Strong account management capability with proven customer facing skills.
- Excellent communication, open minded, customer oriented, and able to influence technical decisions.
- Self motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking on challenging assignments.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
