Your Job
We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded GAM(Sales Director Level) to lead Molex’s business growth in the Datacom market, focusing on AI servers, switches, high speed interconnect, and optical connectivity solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, proven ability managing mega / global key accounts, and solid understanding of both electrical and optical interconnect technologies to drive design wins, revenue growth, and long term customer partnerships.
What You Will Do
- Lead and execute hyperscale sales strategy to achieve revenue, design win, and market share objectives in Datacom and AI infrastructure markets.
- Build and maintain executive level relationships, especially with mega customers (cloud service providers, hyperscalers, leading server/switch OEMs).
- Promote Molex high speed interconnect solutions—including connectors, cables, and optical technologies—and influence customer roadmaps and architecture decisions.
- Identify, qualify, and close major business opportunities; oversee full pipeline to secure profitable long term programs.
- Partner closely with PM, FAE, engineering, quality, logistics, and global product divisions to ensure successful program execution and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver high level technical and roadmap presentations to senior customer stakeholders.
- Provide competitive intelligence and market insights (electrical + optical trends) to support strategic planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales/account team; strengthen mega account management capability.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 8+ years of sales or business development experience in Datacom/Telecom/electronics, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong preference for background in:
- Datacenter server / switch / router hardware
- High speed connectors, cables, optics, or interconnect components
- Proven mega customer management experience, especially hyperscalers or global top-tier OEMs.
- Solid understanding of interconnect and optics, related datacenter optical ecosystems.
- Strong technical foundation in Datacom system architecture or high speed interconnect (MUST).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and executive level influencing skills.
- Highly proactive, strategic, and results driven; capable of thriving in fast evolving AI/datacenter markets.
- Good command of English.
