Your Job
As a Quotation Analyst in Molex Guadalajara you will own the end-to-end supplier quotation lifecycle and should costing for mechanical categories, delivering clear commercial insights and recommendation to support global sourcing decisions. You will translate supplier offers into actionable analytics, maintain procurement master data in SAP, and partner with cross functional teams to drive cost, lead time and supplier optimization across the supply chain.
Our Team
You will be part of the Quotation & Procurement Management (QPM) team within Procurement, based in Bangalore. The team works closely with Category Managers, NPD engineers, Product Managers and the Global Quotations function to secure competitive supply and enable product launches. You’ll engage regularly with external suppliers to execute sourcing strategies.
What You Will Do
- Own the supplier quotation lifecycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and auditable supplier offers that support sourcing decisions and awards.
- Deliver comparative analytics and should cost insights that surface cost drivers, trade offs, and opportunities for savings or value engineering.
- Drive BOM review and cleanup initiatives to improve sourcing outcomes and reduce cost/complexity.
- Maintain procurement master data (Purchase Info Records, pricing, lead times) in SAP to ensure commercial accuracy and visibility across stakeholders.
- Recommend alternative parts and suppliers based on technical and commercial analysis to improve supply resilience and cost position.
- Enable competitive sourcing mechanisms (e auctions) and support supplier readiness and training to maximize participation and outcomes.
- Collaborate with purchasing, sourcing, and cross functional teams to finalize supplier awards and contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Degree or diploma in Engineering.
- At least five years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience with SAP Ariba (sourcing, auctions, price data management, analytics).
- Sourcing/procurement experience in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical categories.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Engineering background in Electronics or Mechanical, or coursework in business studies.
- Prior exposure to contract manufacturing and manufacturing/production processes.
- Experience with quotation tools such as QuoteWin or similar software.
- Prior should costing experience for mechanical categories.
- Hands on experience working with SAP Ariba implementations or advanced modules.
