Are you passionate about quality engineering and eager to work in a dynamic, innovative environment? Koch Industries is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara. In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving both internal and customer quality objectives by implementing and maintaining effective quality systems.
Our Team
You will be part of the Molex division, specifically within the Quality Department. Our team is committed to continuous improvement and collaboration to ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to the Superintendent of Quality and work closely with Quality Technicians, SQA, and Process Engineers.
What You Will Do
- Lead problem-solving initiatives using techniques such as 8D and Six Sigma.
- Coordinate activities of Quality Technicians and quality auditors.
- Develop and implement procedures for the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with Molex policies.
- Evaluate samples and prototypes, and oversee the NPI handoff improvement process.
- Develop quality control plans for in-process and final audits.
- Act as the customer interface for complaints, audits, PCN and ECN’s, process improvement, and new line implementations.
- Lead continuous improvement teams and scrap reduction initiatives.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring follow-up on findings.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Engineering degree or similar.
- English Professional Proficiency
- Minimum of 5 years experience in developing and implementing quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ISO9001 / IATF 16946 standards, SPC, FMEA, and quality systems.
- High level of English proficiency and experience with SAP and Microsoft Office software.
- Strong analytical skills and situational leadership abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of UL and CSA standards.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to solve problems quickly.
- Experience in coordinating reworks and inspections for non-conforming materials.
- Background in Product Life Cycle management.
- High performance collaborator with strong communication and strategic thinking skills.
