As the Logistics and Foreign Trade Leader at Guardian Glass, you will oversee and optimize all logistics and foreign trade operations at our El Marqués Plant. Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient coordination and compliance with international trade regulations. You will work closely with various departments to support the long-term success of our plant, contributing to the creation of maximum value in line with the principles outlined in Principle Based Management™.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to manage the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize processes.
- Handle customs documentation and liaise with customs authorities to resolve any issues that arise.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the safety, security, and sustainability of logistics operations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience managing logistics and foreign trade operation AND optimizing supply chains.
- Proven skills leading and developing a team.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive process improvements.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills in both English and Spanish.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Proficiency with logistics software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
