What You Will Do
- Lead Indirect Sourcing process, working with internal stakeholders to meet related global business goals
- Drive cost reduction objectives with the responsibility to deliver annual cost savings goal
- Responsible for team performance, managing and coaching Indirect Sourcing team effectively, ensuring they are customer focused, process oriented and contribution motivated
- Review and Negotiate supplier agreements, encouraging compliance by both supplier and end-users
- Initiate ideas and actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing activities
- Drive efforts to achieve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the complete supply chain solution
- Conduct cost and market analysis to benchmark current and potential suppliers
- Analyze industry trend and evolving technology to proactively identify supply issue in minimizing risk, ensuring Business continuity plan (BCP) and exploring emerging opportunities
- Drive and manage suppliers’ overall performance, conduct periodic performance review with vendors
- Collaborate with Global/Regional Category Management team in cost savings initiatives. Drive Auction activities for saving opportunities
- Driving VAVE initiatives, process optimization, and vendor consolidation
- Comply to purchasing/sourcing procedures, SOP, ISO procedures and other requirements from time to time
- Assist Indirect Sourcing Center Manager as and when needed on any reports or assignments/ projects given
- Promoting PBM (Principle Based Management) culture and Molex branding in the long run
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 10+ years’ experience in supply chain, with 5+ years’ experience in Indirect Sourcing
- Procurement expertise in categories: Machinery, MRO, Facilities, Packaging and Outside Services
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
- Good command of English language both verbal and written
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills, and excellent organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with and entrepreneurial attitude
- Good skills on Microsoft office suites
What Will Put You Ahead
- Process knowledge and costing awareness, of machinery and spare parts related to molding, stamping, plating, tooling, and assembly.
- Strong System skills – such as Coupa, Ariba
