The role of the new Inventory Planner will be to maintain inventory from start to finish (VMI, SCH, transit, plant, supplier) - Global CMBU operations (Europe).
What You Will Do
- Develop inventory & replenishment strategies to support differentiated service level requirements and cost to serve models
- Lead on driving key planning master data integrity, working with all relevant Mfg. Plants and Supply chain hubs to ensure consistency, proper use, and optimization of master data values, including but not limited to (lead times, safety stocks, MOQ’s, schedule margin keys, replenishment strategies, etc.). Provide training and guidance as required
- Focus on inventory plan and inventory risk for business transfer in and transfer out projects
- Establish and control key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain execution, inventory, and stock level targets
- Drive RCCA processes on Inventory KPI’s as well as setting targets for: Days of Supply (DSI), Inventory Quality (IQR), Days on Hand (DOH), and slow & excess (S&E) expense
- Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) methodology in support of service level goal
- Track KPIs and reports on Planning Strategy, E2E Inventory, Lead time, Safety Stock
- Participate in designing global-divisional level process flows, works instructions, best practices for Inventory, MRP Action Messages, Supply Orders, Data Integrity and Replenishment strategies
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Digital transformation in Supply Planning group, capability of new analysis tools study and implement
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor/or above degree in supply chain management is preferred
- Proven experience with planning, purchasing, customer service, or inventory management
- Good with office software like Excel, PPT, ability to process and evaluate large data sets
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Good presentation skill
- Knowledge of inventory management
- SAP/ERP PP/MM module applications
- Strong willingness for challenges, be open mind and teamwork

- Usage of data process & visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI
- Rapid Response user
- German language business fluent
