Join our team as a Project Leader, where you will be at the forefront of administering and managing new product development activities. You'll interact daily with materials, engineering, quality, and production departments to ensure timely delivery of quotations, samples, and initial production runs.
Our Team
You will be working within the Global Shared Plants (GSP) division located in Guadalajara. Reporting to the Group Program Manager, this team collaborates closely with various divisions and business units to drive product development and introduction. Our team prides itself on its dynamic and proactive approach to managing projects and engaging with clients to achieve successful project outcomes
What You Will Do
- Administer the activity of developing new products and follow processes for quotations, samples, and new product introductions.
- Interact with materials, engineering, quality, and production departments to define delivery dates for quotations, samples, and initial production runs.
- Analyze quotation and sample requests in collaboration with Engineering to define products, generate preliminary material bills, and secure drawings and specifications.
- Provide detailed project status updates to clients through Gantt charts, action item lists, etc.
- Preside over and coordinate New Product Introduction meetings, ensuring follow-up on agreed actions.
- Perform additional activities as assigned by management.
- Adhere to ISO/TS 16949, ISO-14001, and TQM norms and procedures in your area of responsibility.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree with general knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes and systems.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing similar programs and projects, ideally in the electronics or similar industry.
- Advanced English (conversational) and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to express ideas and exchange information clearly and concisely.
- Skills in client and colleague interaction to work effectively and respond positively in work situations.
- High degree of self-motivation, proactivity, and initiative.
