We are looking for an Stamping Engineer to join our Molex CCS team in Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland.
Our Team
The main aim of the Stamping Engineer is to work closely with NPI team to develop process design and new die development to win new projects, to work closely with production/PE to provide the technical improvement or support for stamping parts running smoothly in mass production.
What You Will Do
- Participate in product design process through appropriate design for manufacturing (DFM) input in stamping parts
- Challenge process design and die design to make the competitive cost through manufacturing (DFM) input and DMF (Decision Making Framework) simulation
- Based on DFM&DMF conclusion to develop TTV new die on time through PFMEA & design review process
- Debug FAI and Q-run to complete the die qualification for stamping parts
- Create TQCP documents to standard process for custom audit and lesson learn
- Training production team to release the new products in mass production
- Focus on Core Business products to level up stamping capabilities to increase profit
- New technology development within the direction from section manager or above to win new biz
- Technical support both for outside supplier and inner metal cutting or forming process
- Learn and share MBM® culture and level up self-capabilities to create maximize long term value
- Provide the technical improvement or support for QN/Line Car/IDR reduction
- Work with PE/production to do process continue improvement
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- University and above degree in Manufacturing or engineering discipline
- Proven professional experience of die design experience in the metal forming industry
- Familiar with UG and AutoCAD software
- Good knowledge of tooling and processing for metal forming & high precision die fabrication
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written
What Will Put You Ahead
- Automative die experience, such as Thin thickness(T<0.08mm) or Fine pitch(P<0.5mm) or High speed (SPM>1000)
- Crimp terminal die experience
- Good die assembly or die debug skill
