We are currently seeking for IT/OT System Administrator.
Our Team
The IT-OT network administrator will be primarily responsible for supporting the processes and operational technology infrastructure for both Guardian Glass and SRG Global. The position requires very good knowledge of IT infrastructure and network technologies, preferably in the manufacturing area. The candidate will be expected to work with external companies and other IT teams, and be able to work independently.
What You Will Do
- Manage IT technology related project deployments in the plant, providing local support where needed,
- Manage onsite IT service providers and vendors,
- support in Cybersecurity initiatives, compliance with safety rules according to company standards, educating employees and spreading awareness of hazards,
- Own and support anti-virus software on plant Process workstations, laptops, and servers,
- Manage Vulnerabilities on Business and Process Servers
- Manage backups on plant Process workstations, laptops, and servers,
- Administer and support software patching on plant Process workstations, laptops, and servers,
- Proactively troubleshoot and solve OT network or OT systems issues,
- Implement, maintain, and support plant operational hardware (printers, wireless scanners, tablets and more),
- Work on project, tasks and incidents according to corporate ITIL processes,
- Collaborate with other teams such as engineering and global IT/OT teams.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- First professional experience in the administration of a network infrastructure (wired and wireless network, windows patching/updates, infrastructure security, anti-virus),
- Working knowledge of current network communications devices and protocols as well as server and desktop technologies, esp. Windows Server/ VMware virtual environment,
- Working knowledge of Cisco network devices,
- Working Knowledge of Backup Solution – especially Acronis,
- Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure,
- Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, project management and analytical skills are essential,
- Willingness to travel for business to our units depends on needs (up to 50%)
- At least B2 level in English
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in the administration of a network of servers, desktop systems and communication devices.
- German language communication skills
- Basic knowledge of ICS (Industrial Control Systems) elements and production support systems Scada, HMI, data collectors, Historian
