Process Engineer
The successful candidate will work across the manufacturing functions at Gloucester as part of a team of three Process Engineers. A shift pattern is in place covering a 12 week cycle involving 8 hour day shifts Monday to Friday and periods of 10 hour dayshifts covering occasional weekends. A shift disturbance payment is in place for this of £3800.

- INVISTA's Gloucester site has an opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join the operations/engineering team. Our plant is dedicated to the production of quality products used in the automotive airbag industry.

- We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial engineer who will help us meet the challenge of leading rapid experimentation, pursuing continuous innovation and creating long-term value for customers and society.
- Building strong collaborative relationships with other teams and leaders across Gloucester and our other INVISTA sites in China and Canada within the global business.
- Troubleshooting our manufacturing processes and applying Root Cause Analysis methodologies to maximise quality and yield
- Become the Process Subject Matter Expert that promotes and enables stable and reliable knowledge of processes that can be understood and Implemented by the shift-based teams.
- Analysing process data to convert data into knowledge and actions, thereby enabling process optimization by the Operations and Technical Teams (in the areas of safety, reliability, quality and yield).
- Leading and delivering innovative experiments, process optimizations, and capital projects to improve site competitiveness
- Demonstrate the initiative of a Principled Entrepreneur, who challenges the status quo, prioritizes based on risk and value, is solution-oriented, and meets deadlines
- Show a commitment to ongoing learning and developing new skills while demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Show a willingness to embrace and live the core values of Principle Based Management®
- Ideally with an engineering or science degree.
- Process Engineering experience
- Experience with leading a project, initiative, or team.
- Ability to analyse plant manufacturing data to generate knowledge that results in actionable information.
- Experience in automation and/or experience creating, designing, and implementing creative and ground-breaking ideas.
- Experience with the application of statistics.
