At Koch Industries, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves ensuring the highest level of daily contact with our customers, processing orders with precision, and collaborating with various internal teams to provide outstanding service and support.
Our Team
You will be part of a dynamic Customer Service team that works closely with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Quality, Billing, and Customer Master teams. Our goal is to ensure seamless order processing, timely customer inquiries response, and continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Maintain the highest level of daily contact with customers.
- Process orders in the ERP system SAP with accuracy.
- Verify order data, including part numbers, pricing, and shipping methods on Purchase Orders (PO).
- Send PO acknowledgments and update reports on open orders.
- Monitor availability and update order status, including PO availability confirmation.
- Collaborate with Operations teams: Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality on RMA.
- Work with the Billing team regarding credits.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Follow up on shipment status and provide tracking numbers.
- Cooperate with the Customer Master Team on new customer setup and the Book Pricing Team.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or order processing.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
