What You Will Do
- Organize the team’s activities and drive its performance to achieve production, safety, quality, and timeline objectives.
- Track performance indicators of your team.
- Unite the team around the workshop and factory objectives.
- Act as the liaison between different departments (maintenance, logistics, quality).
- Manage and lead a production team of 6 to 10 operators on a 3-shift rotating model, which could evolve into a 4-shift model (managing workforce, performance reviews, training, and skill development).
- Be a driving force for improvements and collaborate with qualified engineers on drafting process improvement proposals.
- Lead daily quality and production control activities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +2 / Bac +3) in Materials Science with substantial professional experience in a manufacturing environment with a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools could be an advantage.
- Ability to plan and organize.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience in the field.
- A drive for improvement by proposing creative ideas.
- Customer-oriented and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Proficiency in French and a good command of English; any other language would be appreciated.
